The Festival is run by an unpaid, voluntary committee. We meet fortnightly throughout the year to organise the event. Anyone can become a member of the Meadows Festival Association and come to our AGM that we hold in the autumn each year.

We also couldn't run the festival without the many volunteers that come to help out during the weekend of the festival.

Come by our information tent at the festival to find out more.

The Meadows Festival is a completely free to attend, community festival. However, it costs a lot to put on an event of this size. It costs approximately £33,000 to put on the festival each year.

The festival is funded by sponsorship, grants, donations and stall fees. This year our sponsors include; The Centre for Open Learning, EUSA, Stewart Brewing, DECAGRAM, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home, Totally Sound, Reel Youth Media, Tonegarden, 95 Social, Biopac, and Food Sharing Edinburgh.

You can get involved by becoming a volunteer, having a stall at the festival, performing, playing sport, or becoming part of the committee.

Stalls and performance slots are fully booked for this year but you can still come and volunteer and join our friendly team.

Donations, no matter how small, are also very helpful in helping us put on this event.
