Shinty Sports Area
Shinty is back in the Meadows Festival Sports Area! Don’t miss out on an exciting men’s league game, women’s friendly game and junior training sessions and games, all held during the festival on the Meadows.
- 🏑 Equipment will be provided for all participatory activities. We can’t wait to see you there!
Many thanks to The Camanachd Association for their incredible support of the Meadows Festival Edinburgh in organising all shinty events at the festival this year and in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

This year it’s Uddingston vs Aberdour men at 12pm Saturday 1st June, followed by a women’s friendly game afterwards at 2.30pm and junior games from 10am on Sunday.
